One of our very valued customers at Bang & Olufsen of Bournemouth has embarked on a little custom installation project of his own. Our customer of whom is a successful designer required an alternative solution to mount his new 32” BeoPlay V1 in his bedroom. With the information gathered at his home during his complimentary site survey our installation team set about solving the query; how could we install his new V1 television to the end of his bed without the need for any automation gadgets or gizmo’s and conceal the cabling and connections in a way we are accustomed.
The V1 has many placement options including a wall bracket, ceiling bracket and floor stand, so with these brackets already available our customer felt that by utilising one of these and adapting its concept would be the way forward. Our sales team were on hand with the relevant dimensions and sample brackets to conclude that the right solution would be to adapt the close wall bracket originally designed by Sykes Brackets, Bang & Olufsen’s preferred supplier for brackets and stands. The original close wall bracket has now been cleverly modified to bracket directly onto a custom built attachment to the bed. The bed itself rests in the position exactly over the mains power and aerial feed, making a perfect discreet installation by way of running the cables up and through the pole and into the back of the television from beneath the bed.
In conclusion the end result is clear to see. The installation looks neat and tidy and with a little innovation a solution to any query can be found!
